Vacation Makeup

Our Summer vacations are just around the corner, and this year I am determined not to over pack my cosmetic bag. Aside from skin care, and sunscreen there are only a few other products required for a beach vacation. When the weather is hot I prefer lightweight foundation in the form of a tinted moisturizer. Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturizer  SPF 15 gives enough coverage to even out skin tone while feeling like nothing. Tanning the face is not a good idea — very ageing. Guerlain Bronzing Powder will make sure your face matches the rest of your body after a day in the sun. NARS Multiple is the perfect product since you can wear it on the eyes, cheeks, and lips.

During the day it is best to wear products with SPF whether you’re on the beach or just touring around. Lips can get burned just like anywhere else on the body so wear a lip balm with sun protection like Sephora Hydrating Care Gloss SPF 8. For long thick lashes that don’t smudge with the humidity Dior Show Waterproof Mascara is the best. At night, when the suns gone down I love Johnson’s Baby Oil Gel with Shea and Cocoa. Applied all over the body is super hydrating for tanned skin, and gives gorgeous glow. This is a definite must have. Add a bright lipstick like MAC Vegas Volt and you’re ready for a night out.

It’s a short list hopefully I can stick to it this year!

I like all of those tips, makes me excited for summer. Will try the baby oil, did not know it came in cocoa butter.

I never thought about lips burning, great tips as always!! I’m also going to try the baby oil gel, isn’t it kind of sticky though?
