Best of Paris Fashion Week AW14

Paris never fails to impress, and this season was no exception. Pat McGrath served up incredible beauty looks at McQueen, Givenchy, Lanvin, Christian Dior, and Stella McCartney. The Balmain girl doesn’t change much from season to season. Tom Pecheux keeps the girls looking fresh faced and cool. The Dries Van Noten look was designed by Peter Philips. Strong black liquid liner created a geometric shape across the eyelids and the rest of the face was neutral. Louis Vuitton was highly anticipated as Nicolas Ghesquiere debuted his inaugural collection for the brand. Chocolate smoky eyes, subtly contoured cheeks, and natural lips were in line with the collection. The most talked about show of the week was of course Chanel. Karl Lagerfeld’s grocery shopping experience was fabulous. The sensorial show was bright and fun. Models decked out in all kinds of looks from pastel sweats to multicoloured tweeds, to metallic jumpsuits. Pops of colour on their eyes and pastel dreadlocks in their hair–by far the coolest grocery shoppers you will ever see.
