Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

I popped into the Charlotte Tilbury boutique in February when I was in London for the collections. I couldn’t wait any longer for the new foundation to launch in Canada (which it has now) I needed to see what it was all about. The sales associate quickly narrowed down the colour selection for me. The range is pretty diverse, which is what I had expected from Tilbury’s line. There are fifteen shades in total including half shade colour variations. I’m always in between colours and I don’t mind mixing to customize, so I went with 9.5 which is slightly darker than my face. What I am most concerned about with foundation is the undertone. Both 9 and 9.5 have a golden undertone which is exactly what I need! The undertone range varies depending on the shade from neutral, beige, pink, peach, warm amber, and bronze it covers a wide variety of skin tones.

The coverage is definitely full but I have been sheering it out where I need less with a Beauty Blender. The formula claims to minimize pores, cover acne scars and under eye circles, brighten dull skin and its weightless. It’s all true! My skin looks totally even without looking like I have loads of makeup on, and it stays looking that way all day. The three magic ingredients that facilitate these great results are Laricyl, Hyaluronic Filling Spheres, and Supercharged Vitamin C. Laricyl is a concentrated mushroom extract that tightens pores, Hyaluronic Spheres plump and smooth the skin, and Vitamin C is an anti-oxidant that revives skin for a glowing, lit-from-within complexion.
