Chanel Resort 2018

Karl Lagerfeld transported Greece to the Grand Palais for the Chanel Resort collection this week. I loved the neutral tone colour palette accessorized with bright knee high grecian sandals. Lower winged liner that came to a point in the inner corner gave the girls a strong eye focus.

Plenty of Pink

I like pink although I don’t wear it often. On the runways and on the makeup counters there’s a celebration of rose, sorbet, salmon, cherry blossom, marshmallow, and fuchsia. Now is the time to embrace the shade, because pink is the colour of the season.

Toronto Women's Fashion Week AW17

After a year hiatus Toronto Women’s fashion week was back this month. With a new name, and venue, and fewer designers on the schedule. One thing remained the same; Grace Lee was back with her makeup team and we were ready to pump out some fabulous looks.

Best of Paris Fashion Week AW17

There is no doubt that Chanel had the most talked about show of the week, if not the entire season. The rocket ship was on another level! The makeup for the show had a decidedly mod feel with banana lines and lower lashes. Another show-stopper was Saint Laurent.

Best of Milan Fashion Week AW17

The makeup masters knocked out an array of cool looks in Milan for the fall collections. In particular I enjoyed the sixties throwback at Moschino, and the rather painterly, undone look at Prada. Dolce and Gabbana doesn’t really veer away from red lips and winged liner and this show was no exception.

Best of New York Fashion Week AW17

Best Makeup Looks of Couture Fashion 2017

The makeup masters were hard at work last week in Paris. Peter Philips created starry looks at Dior. Tom Pecheux went alien like for Iris Van Herpen, to ultra pretty at Chanel. Pat McGrath taped back the models faces at Givenchy, while Terry Barber was mad for colour at Jean Paul Gaultier.

Dsquared2 Fall 2017

Dsquared_2_Mens_Fall_2017

I’m obsessed with the look that Charlotte Tilbury created for the girls at Dsquared2. Using all creamy products from her own line, they looked slightly wind burned with rosebud lips.

Winter Essentials

winter

Wrapping up warm is the theme of the week because it is freezing out! I’m not into sub-zero temperatures but I am all about a beautiful wool coat and basically anything fur. During the winter months a good skincare regime is imperative.
