Best of New York Fashion Week AW16

NYFW_FW16

It’s been about month since the fall collections kicked off in New York, and today in Paris the last shows of the season concluded. Looking back at the New York runways natural skin, and minimal lip colours reigned supreme. Proenza Schouler, Rodarte and Marc Jacobs broke the trend with strong stand-out matte lip colours.

Daks AW15

Daks_AW15

After I left Felder Felder I had just over half an hour to run down to Somerset House for Daks. This time I made haste so as to be at the front of the queue. Unfortunately it turned out despite being at the front of the line I was actually in the wrong line.

Felder Felder AW15

felder_felder_AW15

NYFW Marc Jacobs SS13

The New York collections are looking pretty fab so far. Marc Jacob’s 60’s Edie Sedgwick vibe was really cool–banana line through the crease, and pale lips. Two days until London!

60's Mod

The mod look was a bit of a micro trend for AW11. Anna Sui and Gianfranco Ferre showed banana lines through the crease with liquid eyeliner, and painted on lashes–straight from the 60’s. While this might be a bit too of the decade to wear, the heavy eyeliner and pale lip from the D&G show captures the essence of the look in a modern way.

Victoria Beckham for i-D and Numero

Victoria snagged 2 covers this month. The 60’s inspired i-D cover is pretty cool, but I’m loving the side swept fringe, and teal trench on the Numero cover.

Which is your fave?
