Best of Paris Fashion Week SS18

It goes without saying that perfect, flawless, hydrated skin was a huge look on the runway. Balmain, Saint Laurent, Givenchy, and Giambattista Valli all showcased impeccable skin finishes on their girls. Chanel took a maximalist approach with frosted blue shadow blended up to the brow bone, and shiny red  lips.

Dior Cruise 2018

Peter Philips designed a natural, warm tan makeup for the Dior Cruise collection. With desert like Hidden Hills California as the location, the fuss free look was made even more beautiful as the sun set while the girls walked the runway.

Best of Paris Fashion Week AW17

There is no doubt that Chanel had the most talked about show of the week, if not the entire season. The rocket ship was on another level! The makeup for the show had a decidedly mod feel with banana lines and lower lashes. Another show-stopper was Saint Laurent.

The Best Red Carpet Looks 2017 Oscars

Sunday nights Oscar red carpet did not disappoint. Hailee Seinfeld’s complete look was absolutely my favourite. From the Ralph Russo dress to the smoldering smokey eye she was perfection. Old Hollywood glamour was a popular look for the evening. Kirsten Dunst in Dior, Taraji P. Henson in Alberta Ferretti,

The beauty looks from the Paris shows ran the gamut from the fresh faces at Lanvin and Dior to Louis Vuitton’s bright graphic eyes and Issey Miyake’s circles. I loved everything about the Balmain look, the girls all looked incredible. But that high blush that blended into the eyes at Kenzo was definitely my fave of the week.

The Best of Paris Fashion Week SS16

paris-fashion-week-2015

The grande finale of the spring collections wrapped last week in Paris. One of my favourite looks was the glitter brow created by Val Garland at Giambattista Valli. The vibrancy and the sparkle of the glitter stood out beautifully against the models almost bare faces.

PARIS_FASHION_WEEK_FALL_2015

Paris fashion week was phenomenal. Every season I feel the same way but this fall was truly brilliant. The Christian Dior show was fantastic, I dream about those patent full length boots with lucite heels. The makeup masters Peter Philips and Pat McGrath were in fine form producing bejewelled faces at Givenchy to the abstract brights at Margiela.

From the veiled looks at Chanel and Giambattista; to the various graphic eyes at Versace and Armani; and the natural lips at Dior and Valentino; the spring couture looks were quite delightful. Paris was the ideal fashion prelude before the ready-to-wear shows start in just a couple of weeks.

Fall 2014 Couture

The Couture makeup looks for Fall seemed to have a common thread–natural lips and a focus on the eyes. At Armani Prive straight lines were the theme. Ultra straight eyebrows and geometric shadow created a boxy look. If you loved Peter Philips look at Dior,
