Louis Vuitton Cruise 2018

With the incredible Miho museum in Japan as the setting, the Louis Vuitton resort show was off to a good start before the models even hit the runway. Supersized winged eyeliner, samurai inspired brows, and cheek markings courtesy of the ever creative Pat McGrath, transformed the models into an assemble of Kabuki characters.

The Best of New York Fashion Week SS16

The New York shows kicked off spring fashion month with some spectacular collections. Riccardo Tisci brought Givenchy state side for what was probably one of the most anticipated shows of the week. Pat McGrath created two stunning beauty looks for the event. An elaborate jewel and lace face for the couture retrospective and then a dewy skin and brow-less look for the spring looks.

W Magazine September Issue

There is too much fabulousness happening in the upcoming September issue of W magazine. Rihanna looks hypnotic on the cover with makeup by Kabuki, who I so admire. Then inside the editorial for Balmain. I die for Balmain and practically cried when I got to work the show in Paris a few years ago.

Makeup Artist: Kabuki

Former New York club kid and one time model, Kabuki is one of the most phenomenal make up artists in the industry. What I find most intriguing about Kabuki is the diversity of his work. From creating the make up looks for the early seasons of Sex and the City to outrageous fantasy looks for Lady Gaga.
