The most glamorous of film festivals means endless images of the best hair, makeup, and fashion. I’ve rounded up some of my favourite beauty looks from the big event.

Bronzed skin and neutrals are always a winning combination. Create luminous skin with hydrating foundation and liquid blush.

Dior Cruise 2018

Peter Philips designed a natural, warm tan makeup for the Dior Cruise collection. With desert like Hidden Hills California as the location, the fuss free look was made even more beautiful as the sun set while the girls walked the runway.

Missy Elliott for Elle

It’s so good to see Missy Elliott on the cover of Elle. Decked out in Marc Jacobs FW17 and representing the metallic lip trend very well. This takes me back to the zeros when Billy B was her makeup artist. I lived for the looks he would create.

Prada Resort 2018

Tiny etheral braids and simple feather headdresses added to the whimsical look at Prada. Pat McGrath’s makeup look centered around bold velvety matte lips, that really amped up the strong girly vibe.

Zoe Saldana at Guardians of the Galaxy Premiere

What’s not to like about Zoe Saldana brightening up the premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy. Decked out in a tangerine sequin and fringe Emilio Pucci gown, Saldana kept her beauty look low key. Soft eye shadow with a subtle flicked liner and neutral lips, were off set with one of my own signature hairstyles–the twisted high pony.

The Best Red Carpet Looks 2017 Oscars

Sunday nights Oscar red carpet did not disappoint. Hailee Seinfeld’s complete look was absolutely my favourite. From the Ralph Russo dress to the smoldering smokey eye she was perfection. Old Hollywood glamour was a popular look for the evening. Kirsten Dunst in Dior, Taraji P. Henson in Alberta Ferretti,

Best of New York Fashion Week AW17

New York came and went pretty quickly it seems, and from show to show there appeared to be a whole lot of nothing on the faces. This is of course not unsual as the no makeup, makeup tends to rule many a runway, and still requires makeup artists to carry an arsenal of products to achieve said look.

Best Makeup Looks of Couture Fashion 2017

The makeup masters were hard at work last week in Paris. Peter Philips created starry looks at Dior. Tom Pecheux went alien like for Iris Van Herpen, to ultra pretty at Chanel. Pat McGrath taped back the models faces at Givenchy, while Terry Barber was mad for colour at Jean Paul Gaultier.
